Hi, I’m Allison from the Etsy Shop Purlgirl Buttons. I started my shop in 2018 to make pinback, magnet, and ChattySnaps® Buttons, which are buttons with a snap on the back to help finance a cool button press I purchased to make prizes for my “Fellowship Kids” at church. I branched out into sewing small crossbody bags, keychain tags, and then notions bags, coin pouches, pencil cases, and project bags followed.
I am especially fond of upcycling denim into pieced patchwork bags and lining them with my own hand-tie-dyed fabric.
When I started Purlgirl Buttons, my focus was mainly on things I thought kids and teens would enjoy, but I found that my bags were popular with all ages. I have added faith-based buttons, as well as knitting and crochet-related, and patriotic-themed styles among other things.
I occasionally take custom button orders, especially for stitching groups, Boy Scout and Girl Scout, and sports groups. Don’t hesitate to message me PurlgirlButtons if you have any questions.

I’ve added a Sock-it! Bag to my line of accessories at www.etsy.com/shop/purlgirlbuttons They are fun land bright-colored ittle drawstring bags made with my own hand-tie-dyed cotton with cotton drawstring and cord lock and aluminum carabiner clip.
