Definition of a Good Day

When you get to the end of your project and you have 4 inches of thread left in your bobbin instead of being short by 4 inches. What’s your definition of a good day in sewing land?

I just received some thread to start making microwave bowl cozies yesterday. That was a good day.

Not about sewing, though for me a good day is one in which I have not poked myself in the finger with needle or pins; but you gave me a brainwave! I crocheted some cosies for my daughter to use when eating ice cream from tubs (stops her fingers getting too cold), but I never thought about cosies for microwave bowls or mugs when she’s having soup or noodles. Thanks!

@Lemming13 you are welcome! Make sure whatever you make them with doesn’t have metal or acrylic - cotton works well if you have it.

Good point, char - I have lots of cotton in my stash, and wooden buttons for fastening them on, so I think I know what I’m doing after my mini wreath.
