@SushiRolag you are quite welcome! Happy to have you!
That is a good pattern for that yarn!
Thanks! I wanted it to look either like waves or fish scales.
I love this pattern in the blue, I’ve made it several times in different weights and colors.
All the lovely things, i just had one of those “gimme ALLL the yarn things!” moments. i’m working on a project which was a great idea for the hottest weather we in England have had in decades - a stripy blanket-type cardigan in spicy colours for when autumn comes and I need to snuggle down. Almost done now, though, and then I shall be working on an autumnal wreath, and the August edition of my Year of the Pig project - a piggie for every month. i think this one may be inspired by the old Japanese tv show Monkey; I loved the character Pigsy in that.
I just completed a shawl, Hortense Beaded Lace Shawl by Anna Victoria. Started on May 19, 2019 and finished July 31 … It always feels amazing to get a project completed…
and in the words of all knitter everywhere…NEXT!
Beautiful! Maybe one of these days I will get my 1001 Nights blocked.
Wow, those are a LOT of floats! I imagine the finished sweater will be truly amazing!
Beautiful colors for a beautiful gift for a beautiful person undergoing a rough time. I am sure your kindness will mean a lot to her.
So pretty! I love knitting lace shawls and just completed one during the MAL under knitting. I posted a pic on that thread but wiL post here too to show what I have been working on. Nice to meet another lace knitter!
Go for it Ismrcd! The blocking is where the magic happens
