Tried to spin sock yarn. Used natural colored BFL, Falkland and Romney top/roving. It is a 3-ply. The finished yarn is worsted weight, which is a thicker than I wanted. My goal still is to get a 3-ply of fingering or DK weight. As for right now: these socks are warm!!!

Hats off to you for getting it done! I have some wool I’m trying to spin into sock yarn as well; could be an interesting experiment! This winter you’ll enjoy those warm socks–even if you can’t wear them in your shoes.
