I’m curious what kind of stand you use for cross stitching, if any? I’ve been researching the various types and I never knew there were so many out there now that I’ve taken cross stitch back up after a few years hiatus.
I use a music stand for stitching and knitting charts, with Lo-ran magnet boards.

I failed to mention that I use scroll rods while I stitch and they have become a bit too heavy to hold, so I was looking for something to mount them on so I can give my elbow a rest.
I don’t use a stand. Sometimes I stitch in hand, sometimes with a scroll rod and sometimes with QSnaps. When I’m stitching on 40 count gauze I use a hoop.
Yes, I think I’m going to have to go back to hoops or QSnaps. I don’t feel like I can get consistent stitches with in hand.
