Hello everyone! I am beyond excited to have found this website/forum, especially after reading the forum etiquette post. I’m longing for a knitting resource that is truly open and accepting of all, discouraging hate in any form, and encouraging respect among all users! I have been knitting and crocheting for a little over 10 years I think and recently it has become a mini-passion. It provides me with a major stress relief, which I need from working a stress filled job. I look forward to supporting others here and getting support and help as I try to expand my skills! Thank you so much for creating this website!
Hello and welcome! We are happy to have you here. If there is anything I can do to help you find your way around, please let me know. This site is full of wonderful people. Join in a make along, and general chatter! We like the chatty sorts.
Hi, @Monchichi and welcome to FiberKind!
Welcome! You are going to like it here! It really is all that’s stated and more.
Welcome to Fiberkind! So glad you joined!
We’re glad to have you!
May I ask how you found this site? We would love to attract more people but it takes time. This site was started last summer and has evolved, even changed names a couple of times. It is still a work in progress and suggestions are always welcome.
After some frustration, I googled “politics on ravelry”. Your site was mentioned in this article I pulled up.
So glad you did! Please help us spread the word.
Welcome to the wonderful site. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Looking forward to seeing some of your projects.
I definitely will!
@Monchichi Welcome! So glad you found us. Looking forward to getting to know you better.
You’ll love it here more and more as you get to know the site.
@Monchichi Welcome!! This is such a lovely place to be (I’ve recently returned myself)!!
here is a news segment with part of the commercial and song that is running thru my head…lol.
Yes, it is! It’s been my husband’s pet name for me since we were first dating (yikes, a long time ago). Over time, he has just shortened it to Monch and it has multiple meanings.
