Pretty colors!

I finished a WIP (November 4), the 2nd of 2 blankets for expected twins (thankfully, they are still not born–we’re hoping they’ll hold off for at least another week, since they’re due mid-December). I used Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Sugarwheel in Petits Fours Galore colorway.

I believe this qualifies me for points for each of these 3:

  1. Finishing a WIP.
  2. It is a gift
  3. I used a pattern from a member, @DistractedKnits (I did 2 blankets and it’s such a cute and easy pattern! )

I love the way the colors worked out and I really love the addition of that green with the “baby” colors. It turned out beautiful.

This is very pretty!!!

Here is the finished painting! I won’t be quitting my day job, but hey!

  1. Started post 34
  2. finished
  3. gift

It is adorable!

@lovestostitch - thank you!

I love it! !

Thank you. It was a self striping yarn, and I tried to pick a fairly neutral colorway since I didn’t know if was for a boy or a girl. I’ve since learned both of the babies are boys, so I’m glad for the colors that are more “boy colors”.

Terrific!!!

Looks great!
