This slouchy, winter hat is designed to be knit in the round with DK weight yarn. It is decorated with beautiful snowflakes and scrolls, and topped with a removable fur pom-pom.
Gauge: 27 st = 4” with larger needles, knitting in the round in colorwork pattern. (Hat height is measured using in/cm, not rows, so row gauge is not important for this project.)
Size: Adult, large.
Hat Circumference = 20", but is VERY stretchy, and sized to be a slouchy hat.
Yarn used in samples was Paintbox Yarns Simply DK.
Main Color (MC): 200 yds (183 m)
Accent Color (AC): 40 yds (37 m)
Snowflakes (White): 60 yds (55 m)

or sizes need to obtain stitch gauge above
Double-pointed needles (DPNs ), size 5 (3.75 mm)

If you haven’t seen it yet the Women for Trump KAL is still happening. The pattern is available on Etsy. deplorableknitter.etsy.com
Pattern calls for DK weight yarn and US size 2 and 3 needles.
The Lucky Star hat is named after its horseshoe lace pattern and the star that frames the crown. The easy-to-remember pattern repeat works up quickly and is great for knitters new to lace.
Size: 20” circumference - Fits most adult heads
Yarn - Any DK fiber will work just fine. These are the yarns I used for mine.
