Free Knitting Pattern: Americana Circle Scarf (no keyhole)

Americana Circle Scarf

Following the popularity of the original Americana Keyhole Scarf and theAmericana Keyhole Scarf - BUNTING STYLE, this new Americana Circle Scarf
is the third pattern in this series of reversible scarves. This circle scarf or infinity scarf is a large loop which can encircle the neck twice.

The Americana scarves get their name from the yarn used: Red Heart Supersaver in the colorway Americana - a self-striping, worsted-weight yarn in easy-care acrylic, with a pattern of stars and stripes reminiscent of the American flag.

The Americana Circle Scarf pattern includes two versions:

  • worsted weight
  • bulky weight, using a strand of Red Heart Supersaver Americana yarn, held together with a strand of Hobby Lobby’s Baby Lou Lou yarn

@qfknit , thanks for sharing your wonderful and versatile design!

Thanks, @Cablegrrl !
The fuzzy version, knit with two strands of yarn held together, is a very quick knit… just 6 hours, start to finish.

Glad you like the pattern… there are many variations.
For the past few years, I’ve made about 100 scarves or more each year, using the Red Heart “Americana” yarn. We had a Knit-Along (KAL) last year… I’m often around to help answer a question you may have.
