Crochet One Handed

Dear Fellow Crochet Enthusiasts,

UPDATE 10/14/2020: I have published the final video on YouTube. https://youtu.be/yaQDFuNsvLM

I fell the other day and injured my left wrist. The doctor did x-rays and said there’s a bone chip. I’m wearing a brace for now and have an appointment tomorrow with a hand surgeon. I can’t bear the thought of not crocheting for several weeks or months. So, I decided to try crocheting one-handed and it’s actually working! (See photo above.)

To document my efforts and share with others who may have similar challenges, I created a video tutorial on how to crochet with one hand. I haven’t published it on YouTube yet.

Would anyone be willing to watch it and give me your feedback? It’s 14.5 minutes long.

This link is to a blog post that’s password protected and I’ll happily send you the password in a private message, if you’ll agree to watch the video and let me know what you think of it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
Cheryl D. Floyd

It looks fabulous for one handed! I’ll take a look Cheryl.

ETA - I’m so sorry you may need surgery. Prayers sent for complete & speedy healing.

Thank you!

That is pretty cool. It seems like an impossible task but it really did work! Good job.

Thanks for watching!
