Hi folks, wanted to let you know, earlier I closed my browser window. I subsequently went back online, clicked history found my old session, clicked on it and was able to get back into the site without having to log back in. Not sure if this is a security issue or not, thought I’d let you know.
Hi fiddlesticks your browser will hold cookies until their expiration even if it is closed. I set the expiration fairly long so people aren’t logged out every few minutes. If you are on a shared machine like a library logging out before leaving would be good security otherwise it will take around a half day for the session to timeout if i recall.
